DIY: Make a Sweet Gift of Future Blooms

Winter may bring gloomy days, but our homes don’t have to be dull. You can brighten up decor with potted flowering bulbs, such as the fragrant hyacinth featured here. Purchase the bulbs inexpensively, plant in plastic nursery pots and wrap them in decorative paper and stringThe plants add a pretty, natural touch to a winter tablescape and can make lovely holiday and host gifts. Here’s how to do it.

I chose three hyacinth bulbs for their future white blooms and their similar size.
